SRINAGAR: A budding cricketer from Kashmir, Kamran Iqbal, is winning all praises from the cricket lovers for his performance in the recently concluded U-16 zone cricket tournament, a statement
Owing to Kamrans brilliant knock of 81, north zone lifted the title beating east zone in the final at Hubli Karnataka.
While debuting in the U-16 nationals, last year, Kamran had scored 350 for Jammu and Kashmir. This year, playing for north zone, he scored 210 runs (37, 24, 68, and 81) including two match winning half-centuries.
The promising opener plays for Kashmir Gymkhana and has also played for Downtown Champions Leagues team Pride Riders in 2015.
Meanwhile, the organisers of Downtown Champions League have congratulated Kamran for his brilliant performance in the zone tournament.
