Jammu and Kashmir Finance Minister, Dr Haseeb A Drabu, Thursday announced rolling back of three taxes he proposed in his Budget which was presented on May 30, 2016.
In the budget, the Drabu presented on May 30, he had proposed hike of tax on mobile phones, hosiery and readymade garments and Aviation Fuel required for pilgrim tourism.
Dr Haseeb A Drabu while winding up debate on general 2016-17 budget in lower house of state legislature said that government has rolled back proposed tax on these three items.
Drabu presented his second budget on May 30, 2016 and the state legislature discussed the budget for last three days.
He had proposed a hike of around 9% tax on the three items which lawmakers suggested that should not be done.
