Srinagar: Anantnag assembly constituency in Kashmir division will go to polls on June 19.
Reports said that Election Commission of India (ECI) has notified the date and counting of the polls for Anantnag seat which fell vacant due to the demise of former CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. Earlier, it had notified May 19 as polling day which was later deferred after PDP led government approached ECI. Late Mufti Sayeed won 2014 assembly elections from South Kashmirs Islamabad. He died on January 07 early this year in AIIMS, New Delhi. The votes will be counted on June 22.
