SRINAGAR: Remembering all the martyrs of Kashmir including Moulana Mohammad Farooq, Khawja Abdul Gani Lone and those of Hawal, Hurriyat patriarch Syed Ali Geelani Friday prayed for highest place in Jannah for them.
The best way to pay tributes to our martyrs is that we should continuous and tirelessly pursue the cause of our freedom struggle, Hurriyat Conference (g) chairperson said in a statement this evening.
We should not indulge in any such activity which has any possibility of harming or damaging our precious and countless sacrifices of our freedom movement, the ailing leader said.
Geelani, who continues to remain under house detention, said, I have met Moulana Farooq Sahab many a times while as Lone Sahab and I had spent a long time together. I admire the services of the family of Moulana Farooq Sahab which he did in the propagation and spreading the message of Peace (Islam) in Kashmir and I had always extolled the natural talent and courage of Abdul Gani Lone sahab. I pray to Almighty Allah to grant them best place in Jannah.
