Srinagar: The residents of Peer Bagh Nadrgund here Thursday hailed the divisional administration for recovering the state land from encroachers.
Locals told KNS that around 12 kanals of state land were encroached by the land mafia in the area.
We brought the matter in the notice of divisional and district administration who acted promptly and acted under law, said Ghulam Nabi Bhat, a local.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Asgar Samoon, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Farooq Ahamd Lone directed the officers to act under law. After ascertaining the facts, the state land encroached by land mafia was recovered today, he added.
We hail the efforts of authorities and thank them for timely intervention in the matter, he said. (KNS)
