Anantnag: At least two persons were injured after suspected militants lobbed a grenade at an Army convoy in South Kashmirs Anantnag district on Friday.
According to the eyewitnesses, a grenade was tossed on Army convoy on Srinagar-Jammu highway near Gorivan hamlet of Bijbehara town in the district. The grenade missed the target and exploded on the road injuring two pedestrians. The injured were rushed to hospital and there condition is stable, said a police official who identified them as Gul Muhammad Thokar son Ghulam Hasan of Gaadiseer Bijbehara and Imtiyaz Ahmed Khan so of Ghulam Hasan, a resident of Malapora Rainawari Srinagar.
