Srinagar : A minor boy died while five others were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
A police spokesperson said in Sopore, an I-10 vehicle hit and seriously injured a 14 years old boy Shakir Ahmad Dar resident of Dukolbal, Nathipora at Dukabal Crossing Bomie. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore where he succumbed to his injuries. Sopore police has registered a case in this regard.
In Anantnag, a Scooty bearing registration number JK03A-9479 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Dawood Khan Resident of Dadu Marhma on National Highway near Court Complex Bijbehara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01A-0995 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Reyaz Ahmad Depu resident of Batengoo, Anantnag at Flyover Harnag. In the accident the motorcyclist was also injured. Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment. Anantnag police has registered cases regarding these accidents.
In Kupwara, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a person identified as Mohammad Amin Khan son of Samandar Khan Resident of Nutnoosa Kandi at Nutnoosa Drugmulla. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK09-4566 turned turtle at Dilbagh Lalpora resulting in injuries to a lady identified as Hajra Begum Wife of Ghulam Nabi Rather resident of Shalgund Lalpora. The injured lady was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Kupwara police has registered cases regarding these accidents. (PTK)
