A three-year-old boy drowned after falling inside a deep borewell here in Hatmullah area of north Kashmirs Kupwara district on Saturday.
Momin Nazir, son of Nazir Ahmad Mir of Hatmullah area of Drugmulla fell into the borewell near his house today afternoon.
The family members and the nearby residents immediately retrieved him.
He was taken to Sub-District hospital Kupwara where doctors declared him brought dead.
