SRINAGAR: Traffic Police Srinagar has warned the auto-rickshaws and vans carrying school children to desist from overloading to ensure safety of the children .
The department has also sought cooperation from parents in this regard to check overloading in these vehicles which poses threat to the safety of the students.
Traffic Police said this perilous trend needs to be arrested and in this direction the department has warned that strict action will be taken against the violators under the Motor Vehicles Act.
