Srinagar: A female patient from Srinagar city Saturday alleged that clinical laboratory Taumm Charitable Trust (TCT) outside SKIMS hospital Srinagar provided her an erroneous report about Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) test as a result she suffered heavily from last 8 months.
The female patient Amira Jan from Srinagar city told CNS that she visited TCT lab Soura for TSH test where the experts handed over a positive report of her blood samples (10.40). After starting taking drugs i again gave my blood sample at a private lab in Lal Bazar but the report they provide me was surprising and it was normal (5.6). To remove my doubts i visited another lab that also contradicted to the report given to me by TCT lab, she said.
Whatever i spent on these tests is not a question but the negligence on part of lab technician almost made my life miserable and i faced a lot of trauma. It also shows how our doctors take it easy while signing any report, she said.
When contacted Manager TCT lab said that they will look into the matter.
