SRINAGAR: Assistant Director Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) department on Thursday issued a show cause notice to a Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) in north Kashmirs Bandipora district over corruption charges.

The TSO after being summoned by the Assistant Director not only accepted the allegation, but also acknowledge to continue the practice before him in presence of other employees.
Whereas there is zero tolerance against the corruption and your act may initiate this menace of corruption in other TSO circles of District, as such you are given three days time to represent, why your service shall not be recommended deadwood, the Assistant Director CAPD states in his show cause notice, a copy of which lies with GNS.
He, the CAPD Assistant Director, has also requested the Director CAPD Kashmir to initiate an inquiry against the TSO through Vigilance Organization Kashmir. (GNS)
