GANDERBAL: Police on Monday said it have arrested three alleged drug pedlars and recovered Spasmoproxyvon tablets and bangpatri from their possession in central Kashmirs Safapora area of Ganderbal district.
A police official said that a police party led by Station House Officer Jaspal Singh laid a naka at Safapora. During naka three persons were intercepted. On search 430 tablets of Spasmoproxyvon and 800 grams of bangpatri were recovered, he said.
The official identified the arrested persons as Ubad Ahmad Baba,Irshad Ahmad Baba and Bilal Ahmad Dar, all hail from Bandepur district.Police have registered a case under section 8/21 NDPS Act and investigation was taken up, he added.
