SRINAGAR: Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTFM) led by Muhammad Sadaq Baqal Tuesday dissolved the Federation Body and announced that elections will be held in April to constitute and elect new body and the Federation president.
Publicity Secretary KTFM Hilal Ahmed Mandoo told CNS that after dissolving the executive body Bashir Ahmed Rather was appointed acting president of the Federation till new elections are conducted. KTMF believes in democratic set up and the new body and the president will be elected democratically. The elections that are due in April this year will be supervised by Ajaz Ahmed Khan, Mandoo said adding that it was President Muhamamd Sadaq Baqal himself who announced dissolution of the executive committee to pave way for the new elections.
