SRINAGAR: Celebrations with regard to Indias 67th Republic Day was celebrated with usual gaiety and fervour.
BUDGAM: The Republic Day was also celebrated with enthusiasm and gaiety at Sports Stadium Budgam here today. The Deputy Commissioner, Mir Altaf unfurled the National Flag and took salute at the march past. The contingents of JKP, JKAP, IRP, CRPF, Forest Protection Force and School children participated in the march past.
BARAMULLA: The Republic Day was celebrated at District Headquarters, Baramulla where Deputy Commissioner, Yasha Mudgal was the chief guest who unfurled National Flag and took salute at the march past. The contingents of JKP, JKAP, IRP, CRPF, Forest Protection Force and School children participated in the march past.
Among others, DIG North, and SSP Baramulla, officers of Police and Civil administration were present on the occasion.
The Republic Day celebrations were also held at both Sub-Divisions and Tehsil headquarters in the district.
URI, SDM Uri, hoisted the National Flag and took salute of the March-Past presented by contingents of Security Forces, Fire & Emergency Services and school children. Moreover, cultural programmes were also presented by groups of school children of various schools.
ANANTNAG: Republic Day was today celebrated with full fervor and gaiety at Govt. Degree College for Boys Anantnag. Deputy Commissioner Muneer-ul-Islam hoisted the National Flag and took salute at the march past.
A colourful march past was presented by J&K Police, CRPF, JKAP, Fire and Emergency Services, NCC Cadets and students of various schools. Scintillating cultural programmes were presented by school children and Department of Information.
PAHALGAM, the tricolour was unfurled by Sub Divisional Magistrate, who took salute and inspected the march past on the occasion.
KULGAM: Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and gaiety in the district at Degree College where the senior officers of Police and Civil administration were present.
Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah unfurled the National flag and took salute at the march past.
At PULWAMA: The 67th Republic Day was celebrated in the district and the main function was held at District Police Lines where Deputy Commissioner, Niraj Kumar unfurled the National Flag and took salute at the march past. The contingents of CRPF, JKP, JKAP, Fire & Emergency, Home Guard and School children participated in the march past.
BANDIPORA: Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic zeal and enthusiasm at Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium, Bandipora where Deputy Commissioner, Sajad Hussain was the chief guest who hoisted the National Flag and took salute at the march past. The contingents of JKP, JKAP, IRP, CRPF, Forest Protection Force and School children participated in the march past.
At KUPWARA: The main function was held at District Police Lines Kupwara where Deputy Commissioner, Rajiv Ranjan unfurled the National Flag and took salute at the march past. The contingents of CRPF, IRP, JKAP, JKP, Forest Protection Force and School children participated in the march past.
Tributes were paid to Col. Santosh on the occasion.

GANDERBAL: Deputy Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat unfurled the National flag at Ganderbal and took salute at the march past. The contingents of JKP, JKAP, Polce Trainin School Manigam,, Forest Protection Force and School children participated in the march past.
KARGIL: The Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Haji Muhammad Haneefa Jan hoisted the National Flag at Khree Sultan Chow Sports Stadium Biamathang on 67th Republic Day and took salute at an impressive march past comprising contingents of J&K Police, NCC, Army, Civil Band Party and students of Government and private schools.
LEH: The 67th Republic Day was celebrated at Polo Ground Leh with patriotic fervour today where the Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Leh, Dr. Sonam Dawa Lonpo unfurled the tricolour and took salute at the march past in which contingents of J&K Police, J&K Armed Police, Para-military, NCC and school children participated.
Besides district headquarters the 67th Republic Day functions were held at all Sub-Divisions and Tehsils of the districts of Kashmir valley.
