SRINAGAR: To improve the quality of teaching learning process at elementary as well as secondary level, the State Institute of Education (SIE) organized three workshops of five days duration on mathematics, science and education technology at SIE complex Bemina.
A five day workshop on capacity building of elementary level mathematics teachers on the theme Development of Mathematics Lab was conducted by the mathematics wing of SIE in which 27 teachers participated.
Another workshop was held on basics of computer for elementary level teachers conducted by the educational technology wing in which as many as 28 teachers participated. The aim of the workshop was to acquaint the teachers with the basic skill and knowledge about the operations of the computers. Similarly 26 teachers participated in the orientation course on Module making for secondary level.
Joint Director Trainings/Principal SIE during her valedictory address stressed upon all participants to take benefit of the orientation programme use the skills and techniques for making teaching learning process more interesting and effective.
