SHOPIAN: Indian troopers Friday claimed they detected an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) fitted in a small gas cylinder on the road in Gulabtaing Kellar of South Kashmirs Shopian district.
According to a police official, during a routine patrolling Army personnel from 44 Rashtriya Rifles spotted a gas cylinder lying by the roadside. Bomb disposal squad was called in which defused that IED in nearby fields, he said adding that a formal case has been registered and investigation has been taken up.
