SRINAGAR: A Kashmiri play PAETHER directed by Manzoor Ishbari was Thursday released at Tagore hall. The play will give an overview about the helplessness of a common Kashmiri against the circumstances he I confronted with.
While speaking to media, Ishbari, a writer and director of the play said, The play will depict the image of a common Kashmiri who comes to his ruler with his grievances and moves out with the solution.
He said that the play is a trailer of many issues which highlight the consequences of the political turmoil that has gripped the Valley from last 25 years and at the same time recommendations for the revival.
The common man of the state in general and Kashmir in particular have been rowing his boat through rough waters owing prevailing uncertain and abnormal socio-economic and political scenario, he said.
Meanwhile, award of honour was given to the Kashmir News Service (KNS) in the play releasing function for its best performance in reporting. Waseem Ramzan, who was present in the function, received an award on behalf of KNS.
