SRINAGAR: A female student of SKUAST (K) has been awarded from the Government of Maharashtra for her research.
Ruhul Nissa, won the national award for her best for her Master of Technology thesis, Modelling of Moisture Uptake through Drip Irrigation in High Density Apple Orchard.
Nissa is studying at Division of Agricultural Engineering, SKUAST Kashmir.
The award was presented to her by Subhashji Desai, Minister of Industries, Ports, Employment and Self Employment, Govt. of Maharashtra at the 45th annual National Convention and International Conference, at HVPM College of Engineering and Technology at Amravati in Maharashtra, Indian Society of Technical Education.
Besides cash reward, the award carries a medallion and a citation. (KNS)
