SydneyHeavy showers have led to the abandonment of play on day four of the Sydney Test between Australia and West Indies without a ball being bowled.
The rain which played spoilsport in the previous days continued washing out the entire first session.
Just when lunch was taken at 12:30pm local time, the umpires made an early decision to abandon play, thirty minutes later as rain showed no signs of relenting.
West Indies continue to remain at 248 for seven in their first innings with Denesh Ramdin (30 not out) and Kemar Roach (0 not out) at the crease.
