Anantnag: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers two drug peddlers arrested in south Kashmir in Anantnag and Shopian district.
A police party of Police Station Anantnag established a Naka at General Bus Stand Anantnag during Naka an Alto car Bearing registration number JK03A-9012 was intercepted driven by Javaid Ahmad Baba son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Sarnal Payeen Anantnag and recovered 14 bottles of codeine phosphate from his vehicle. Police arrested the accused and seized the vehicle and registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile reports came from Shopian District police today arrested drug peddler and recovered 8 bottles of “Rinkof” from his possession, We have seized 8 bottles of “Rinkof” from one Nisar Ahmad Bhat s/o Mohd Rafiq Bhat R/o Mooman Dangi Bijbehara. Police said. However SHO Zainapora Gulzar Ahmad told Kashmir Observer that we have arrested the accused and registered a case FIR no. 02/2016 under section 21 NDPS against him in Police Station Zainapora and further investigations are going on.
