SRINAGAR: In wake of snowfall, Deputy Commissioner, Budgam today convened an officers meeting and took stock of arrangements made for snow clearance at Budgam.
The Deputy Commissioner asked officers to remain in state of readiness to meet out any exigency and for redressal of public issues during snowfall. He instructed engineers of Mechanical engineering, R&B and PMGSY to keep machines ready for snow clearance so that people do not suffer any difficulty.
The Deputy Commissioner asked PDD and PHE authorities to ensure supply of power and drinking water in the district. He stressed the officials to remain vigilant and maintain punctuality in all offices.
