JAMMU: To assess the arrangements put in place for the evening classes being conducted for children of move employees, Minister of State for Information, Culture and Education Priya Sethi Thursday held surprise inspection of SRML Higher Secondary School, here.
During the inspection, the minister took a detailed round of all the classes and interacted with the students and parents.
The government has made special arrangements for the children of move employees and all required facilities should be made available for smooth conduct of classes in the school, she reiterated.
Special evening classes have been arranged in the SRML higher secondary school for children of move employees who are studying in 9th to 12th standard and regular classes are being conducted from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm in the school.
Expressing concern over lack of arrangements in the evening classes, the Minister conveyed her extreme displeasure to the vice-principal and directed for strict action against those employees who do not perform their duties.
