Ganderbal: A religious function followed by a rally was held at Jamia Masjid Meerani, Duderhama Ganderbal. The function was jointly organized by Karwan-i-Islami Kashmir and Jamia Masjid Meerani Committee Duderhama.
In the day long function held at Jamia Masjid Meerani Duderhama, various clerks threw detailed light on the life and teachings of beloved Prophet. They also emphasized on the need to follow the Islamic teaching as per the Quran and the Hadith.
By holding Milad conferences, we come to know about the Sira (life) of our Prophet and his teachings which act as a torchbearer in our lives, said Moulvi Mohammad Amin Shah emphasizing on the need to follow Islam as it what he termed as a complete way of life.
The religious clerks also held that the global problems faced in the contemporary times will get sorted out if we vehemently follow Islamic path as per the Quran and Hadith.
Chairman Karwan i islami , Moulana Gh Rasool Hami said that Allah himself celebrated the Milad of Prophet (SAW) and we are in no way wrong when we do also celebrate it. Quran and Hadith are full with the references of celebrating Milad, he said.
After the Juma prayers, Hami led the rally from Duderhama to Beehama in which thousands of devotees participated amid slogans like Eid Milad, Mubarak ho Mubarak ho, Nabi (SAW) ka daman, nahi choday gay and the like.
Scores of banners over which were enshrined verses from the Quran and Hadith were raised everywhere at Duderhama and Beehama by the Intizamia Committee Jamia Masjid Meerani Duderhama.
