Jammu: Vigilance Organization has registered a formal case against Jammu Municipal Committee senior town planner Surinder Sharma for granting an illegal building permission vide No. 140/BS/2010 to a Gandhi Nagar resident Pawan Dubey.
A Vigilance official said that the Senior Town Planner abused his official position and in blatant violation of Jammu Master Plan and approval of BOCA granted illegal building permission in lieu of heft bribe.
Vigilance Organization has also found that the then senior town planner Farzana Naqasbandi had granted an illegal building permission to one beneficiary namely Owais Mustaq Burza for construction of residential building at Gandhi Nagar Jammu. Vigilance has filed a formal case against the then senior town planner for violating the norms of law.
