Srinagar: Accusing Association of Private B Ed Colleges of playing with the career of the students, B.Ed students Monday sought postponement of their examination stating that they were not prepared yet for the examination.
A group of students from North Kashmir said that Association of Private B Ed Colleges are putting pressure on Kashmir University for conducting examination as they have their own interests. They said that they have not yet completed the syllabus. We are in a fix what to do. Sometimes we are told exams will be conducted shortly and sometimes we are informed that it will be postponed. Some students want to move out from the state for the winters and they are stuck here because of the no decision taken by the University in this regard, they said.
The students said that it will be injustice towards them if their exams are conducted at this point of time. Winter vacations have already begun and it will certainly affect the conduct of Practice of Teaching (POT) test which is the basic component of the exams. So we appeal Kashmir University to postpone our exams and conduct it in March next year, the students said. (CNS)
