JAMMU: Sher-e-Kashmir which is the known title given to the first Prime Minister of J&K Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah has no mention in the state governments records.
According to a RTI report filed by a Jammu-based activist Deepak Sharma, Jammu and Kashmir government has no official record as to who is Sher-e-Kashmir.
Many expressed shock over the revelation as the title has associated with leader and he is known with this name.
Deepak Sharma had filed an RTI with the Public Information Officer (PIO) of the Governors secretariat seeking information regarding the title Sher e-Kashmir if it was conferred upon by government to any person in the state.
