Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Thursday condemned the protest staged by what it described as fascist elements in Jammu against its chairperson, Muhammad Yasin Malik.
Terming these kind of dramas as obsolete and flop-show that have failed in past and are bound to fail in future also, JKLF spokesperson said, These dramas are staged by some political orphans to remain in news.
Malik arrived in Jammu on 2nd of December 2015 and to express condolences to the family of veteran journalist Ved Bhasin who died recently.
Malik went to the residence of Ved Ji and after offering condolences came back to hotel where he was staying. Soon some elements shouting anti-Kashmiri slogans and showering abuses gathered outside the hotel and remained there for some time, the spokesperson said.
Condemning this cowardly act, JKLF said, Kashmiris have been witnessing such dramas from last two decades but these kinds of acts have not succeeded to dent our resolve in past neither will these succeed in future. Jammu and other areas have been turned as No-Go areas for resistance camp from last many years no one is allowed to visit these areas and meet people there. On the other hand sustained propaganda campaign that freedom camp has ignored Jammu and other areas like these is going on.
The JKLF spokesperson further said, if so-called rulers believe in democracy they should lift this blanket ban and allow freedom camp to visit Jammu and other areas freely so that freedom camp can also meet people of Jammu etc.
