Srinagar: Internet and mobile banking as well as mobile payments of Punjab National Bank are out of order from past two days in Kashmir Valley as a result thousands of customers are unable to deposit or withdraw cash from the multiple branches of the bank.
Customers from Punjab National Bank told CNS that they were unable to make any transaction from past two days. The internet system in every branch of the Bank is out of order. I was supposed to withdraw cash but from past two days I am unable to do so as every branch is out of order, said a PNB account holder Muhammad Jaffar to CNS.
Another customer said that he had been unable to access his account from past two days. I am used to bad customer service in every branch but their online service has also gone from bad to worse, he said.
For a transaction I went to the branches located at Jawahar Nagar, Jahangir Chowk and other branches of the Bank. I was informed that only Dalgate branch of the PNB is in operation, he said.
An official from the PNB said that they are aware of the issue and they are investigating the problem as a high priority.
