JAMMU: Major General SS Jakhar Tuesday took over as the new Additional Director General NCC Directorate, J&K.
He took over charge from ADG Major General Neeraj Verma who is now posted to Defence Services Staff College, Wellington Tamilnadu as MG I/C Adm.
Major General Sudhir Singh Jakhar was commissioned in the Rajput Regiment in Dec 1979 and since then has held numerous command and staff appointments.
