JAMMU: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Syed Basharat Bukhari, Monday convened a high level meeting to review preparedness with regard to Budget Session.
During the meeting deliberations were held to formulate a tentative schedule for convening of the Budget Session, so that a proposal for the same could be submitted to the Cabinet.
Earlier, the Cabinet in its meeting on 19th November had asked the Law Department to process the matter regarding advancement of Budget Session of the State Legislature, as per the provisions of the State Constitution.
Secretary Law, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Secretary Legislative, Mohammad Ramzan, Secretary Council, Abdul Majeed Bhat and Additional Secretary Law, Achal Sethi and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
