Mukhtar Khan bags Int’l award

Srinagar: Mukhtar Khan, working for American wire service, the Associated Press, (AP) has bagged prestigious Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar award.

Khan was awarded for feature photography for picture of a boy playing on a swing. 

Mukhtar Khan, who began his career with the Kashmir Observer, joined AP in 2001 and has eversince won many laurels for his professional acumen and eye for detail. He has previously won Commonwealth Award in 2003.
