SRINAGAR:-Pakistani Rangers and Border Security Forces Tuesday exchanged heavy gunfire on the international border in Samba district of Jammu region.
Police said Pakistan Rangers started firing in Chalari and Ghugwal areas of the border in Samba district at 3.50am Tuesday targeting nine BSF border outposts, triggering a backlash from BSF.
Pak Rangers used small arms and automatics to target the positions, police said. The firing was effectively retaliated using same calibre weapons.
