Srinagar: Condolences continued to pour in from pro-freedom camp on Monday over the demise of senior Muslim Deeni Mahaz (MDM) leader Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bilal Kakpori who passed away on Sunday after a brief illness.
In a statement, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman while expressing grief and sorrow said the deceased was a dedicated person who always remained steadfast in resistance and struggle for freedom.
Paying tributes, Malik said Bilal Kakpori was a humble person and wedded to the cause of Islam and freedom. He expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for his heavenly abode.
The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah said the deceased since very young age joined the Kashmir freedom movement and suffered heavily by spending the prime of his life in jails.
Shah said the deceased’s family was continuously made victim of state suppression and prayed for peace to the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
A DFP delegation led by party’s Secretary General Moulana Abdullah Tari visited the residence of deceased and expressed condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family.
JKLF (R) Chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar (Bita Karate) also expressed condolence with the bereaved family and prayed for strength to bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
