Srinagar: With the commencement of board exams for matric class, complaints of violation of rules have been received from Sopore.
Reports said that in a brazen violation of rules at centre number 3177 for Haathi Shah Girls High School, the authorities have deputed a teacher as examiner from the same school. Showkat Ahmad Dar, the deputed teacher has been supervising the exams as Assistant Superintendent, the reports said.
The move from the authorities has been strongly criticized as the rules debar the deputation of an employee as examiner for the institute he is working for.
Chief Education Officer Baramulla while talking on the issue said that they have verified the reports about the deputation of the teacher as examiner in the said exam centre. We have verified the reports, he said, adding that the action will be initiated against those involved in violations. (GNS)
