Srinagar: Renowned Russian Archaeologist Prof Natalia Polosmak on Tuesday delivered a lecture at the University of Kashmir.
The extension lecture on New Archaeological Investigations was organized by the prestigious Centre of Central Asian Studies (CCAS).
Prof Polosmak is a distinguished scholar from the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography, Russian Academy of Sciences. She specializes in Central Asian archaeology and has vast experience in excavations and explorations in Mongolia and Altai Mountains.
The lecture was attended by a large number of scholars from various departments of the University.
Prof G N Khaki, Director, CCAS formally welcomed the guests and Dr Mohammad Ajmal Shah, Assistant Professor introduced the visiting faculty. Abid Gulzar conducted the proceedings of the lecture.
