PAHALGAM: Pahalgam valley Tuesday witnessed a further dip in the mercury as incessant rains continued to lash the mountainous resort for the entire day. The area is likely to receive snowfall in the upper reaches in the next 36 hours, the Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
“More rain and snowfall above 4000 metres is likely to occur in Pahalgam,” a MET official said. Icy cold winds and incessant rain not just affected vehicular movement but also brought normal life to a standstill.
