Srinagar: An RTI activist from Magam area of north Kashmir has alleged that his mobile phone was seized by Magam police last night.
The activist, Er. Irfan Ali Banka alleged that his RTI plea was not entertained by the Police. I received a call from the police station and while I reached there, they took away my phone and accused me of spreading violence on a Whatsapp,” Irfan said.
The activist said that his business has suffered without the mobile phone and asked the district authorities to help retrieve it from the police.
