Srinagar: Protests rocked Kashmir University (KU), SSM College and Govt Medical College Srinagar against the killing of 21 year old Gowhar Nazir in government forces action on Saturday.
KU students boycotted their classes Monday morning and assembled in the campus. While holding placards, the students, both boys and girls, staged fierce anti-India and pro-freedom protests and condemned the killing of the youth.
In SSM College of Engineering, entire work remained suspended in memory of slain youth as he was student of the said college.
Students at the SSM staged protests against the killing of their colleague and raised anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.
The doctors at GMC Srinagar also held a protest against the killing of engineering student and offered funeral prayers in absentia for him inside the college premises. The protesters shouted slogans in favour of Azadi and paid tributes to the slain youth.
