DDC Ganderbal for Measures to Prevent Copying
GANDERBAL: The District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal today convened a meeting of officers from Education Department and asked them to ensure that the upcoming board examinations are held in a fair and transparent manner. He said all centres will have adequate police force and in case of trouble, the authorities could contact him directly.
The DDC directed the authorities to ensure that only the teachers with sound credibility and track record are made superintendents and invigilators for the upcoming board examinations. They were also instructed to ensure that impersonation and unfair means do not take place at any cost in the exams.
Two flying squads were also constituted to check copying and external interference. The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, and ACR Ganderbal will head one flying squad each.
Police authorities were directed to impose section 144 around the examination centers on examination days.
Among others ACR Ganderbal, CEO Ganderbal, Deputy CEO Ganderbal, Principals from all Higher Secondary Schools and High Schools in the district were present in the meeting.
