Srinagar: Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered huge quantity of prescription drugs from his possession in Sopore.
On specific information, Police Station Sopore apprehended a drug peddler identified as Rameez Ahmed Mir son of Ghulam Hassan Mir resident of Adipora at Chinkipora Sopore. On his checking police recovered 160 bottles of ran-codex (codeine phosphate). Sopore police has registered a case FIR number 229/15 under section 8/22 NDPS in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
