BARAMULLA: Brutal killing of a Sikh lady at Baramulla has saddened whole Kashmir and Muslims of Kashmir share the grief and sorrow of their Sikh brethren. The demand of her relatives and Sikh brethren for fast track investigation is genuine and we support this demand. This was stated by JKLF Chairman Yasin Malik after visiting the bereaved family
Malik who along with a delegation comprising of Senior leaders Muhammad Zaman Mir, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Muhammad Amin Magloo, Molvi Reyaz and chairman JKLF(R) Farooq Ahmad Dar (Bitta Karatay) visited Baramullah and expressed condolences to her bereaved family .
Sikh leader Jagmohan Singh Raina was also present on the occasion.
Mohammad Yasin Malik and other members of the delegation reached Kanlibagh and visited the bereaved family of the murdered woman who was killed in mysteriously recently.
Mohammad Yasin Malik consoled the bereaved family and addressed people present on the occasion.
In his speech Yasin said that Muslims are duty bound to safeguard the interests of their non-Muslim brothers and sisters as this is their religious duty. He said that our Allah, his last messenger (SAW) and the holy Quran has taught us to share grief and sorrows of minorities living alongside us and safeguard their lives and properties. This is why I took it as my religious and national duty to reach here despite being ill. He said that the mysterious circumstances in which this lady was killed require a thorough and prompt investigation to ascertain the culprits behind it and the demand of relatives and Sikh brethren for a fast track investigation are to the point and we also support this demand fully. Yasin Malik assured Sikh brothers and sisters of every support in this regard and said that Sikh brethren will find us at their back whenever they need.
