Jammu:Police has cracked a gang of snatchers operating in the winter capital and arrested three persons.
The accused were active in the area from the last one year and have done snatchings in the area of Subash Nagar, Vikas Nagar and Gurha Bakshi Nagar, SP North Shiv Dev Singh told reporters here.
He said that three cases of chain snatching has been solved on instance and three gold chains of approximately 30 grams along with a motor cycle used in the crime.
”More arrest and recoveries are expected while the investigation is going on, said the SP adding that nexus of the chain snatchers with the drug traffickers is also being looked into. The accused were identified as Munish Gupta, Anubhav Khajuria and Gourav Bali, all residents of Jammu
