SRINAGAR: Smt. Malapi Mishra, wife of Late Arjun Mishra, mother of Director General Prisons, S. K. Mishra, passed away at her residence Jagdishpur Cuttak in Bhunashwar Odisha Tuesday.
To mourn the demise of Smt. Mishra, a condolence meeting was held at Police Headquarters (PHQ) here this afternoon.
Chaired by Director General of Police, K. Rajendra Kumar and attended by ADsGP, S. P. Vaid, Navin Agarwal, V. K. Singh, S. M. Sahai, Dilbag Singh, L. Mohanti and other police officers, the meeting expressed their grief and sorrow on behalf of all ranks of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
They conveyed their condolences to Mishra and expressed their solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of sorrow.
As per the family sources, the cremation will be held tomorrow at Bhunashwar.
