SRINAGAR: Claiming the responsibility of the killing of Sub-Inspector Altaf Ahmed Dar, militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba Friday said that the attack on Dar was a planned one and only two militants participated in the attack.
In a statement to the local news agency, CNS, Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi, spokesman, LeT quoting Lashkar chief Mehmood Shah said that the militants who participated in the attacked reached safely at their destination.
The death of Altaf Dar was a major setback to Indian Police and such attacks on Indian aides will continue in future as well, the statement reads.
