SRINAGAR: A delegation of Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) Friday called on the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, and presented a memorandum highlighting their demands.
Led by its President, Advocate Mushtaq Ahmad Sagar, the delegation apprised the Chief Minister on matters related to relief and rehabilitation of flood victims as well as issues pertaining to the electricity tariff and compensation to people whose land has been acquired for widening of roads.
They also highlighted the need to ensure availability of kerosene, LPG and other essential commodities, particularly during winter months.
The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured of getting the issues examined on priority.
