BARAMULLA: Islami Tanzeem Azadi head, Abdul Samad Inqalabi, was Friday rearrested by police after a Magistrate directed for his release on bail, and shifted to some unknown destination.
Muhammad Yousuf, brother of arrested leader said that Inqalabi was picked up by police from his Ganistan Sumbal residence a day before Eid on September 24. Inqalabi was shifted to Sumbal police station where from he was shifted to Sub-Jail Baramulla, Yousuf said adding that Inqalabi was bailed out by First Class Magistrate Sumbal Zafar Ahmed on Friday but the men in civvies from CIK bundled him into a gypsy near jail gate and shifted him to unknown destination.
He urged authorities to release his brother as, according to him, Inqalabi is suffering from many ailments.
