SRINAGAR:-Authorities have clamped down on mobile internet service in Jammu division Thursday afternoon.
Police said the step has been taken to prevent misuse of social media on phone and the decision will be reviewed shortly.
The decision came hours after carcasses of three cows were found in Jammus neighbouring district Udhampur, leading to tension there.
Pertinently, independent legislator, Er Rashid was thrashed by BJP lawmakers in lower house of state legislature this morning. Rashid had organized a beef party Wednesday evening at MLA hostel in Srinagar.
