BARAMULLA: A Medical cum Veterinary Camp was organised by the Army under the aegis of Chinar Corps at village Uthura, Baramulla. The aim of the medical cum veterinary camp was to bring medical services to the populace residing in far flung areas of Baramulla where such facilities are difficult to get.
A Joint team of Doctors from Army and Civil Administration, including Lady Doctors, Nursing Assistant and Paramedics participated in providing Medical Assistance to 418 people, including Men, Women and Children.
Besides this, 481 Livestock were also treated at the Camp. A team of one veterinary doctor with two assistants was present to treat the livestock. Handouts on Himayat project launched by Govt of India were also distributed and a lecture on Health & Hygiene’ was conducted. Various other stalls, including a stall on SBI Life, Stationery & agricultural products was also on display for the betterment of the locals.
