SRINAGAR: A high intensity blast resembling a cloudburst sparked panic among the Srinagar residents Saturday evening.
The Meteorological department later said that there is no issue to worry about.
According to Director MeT Srinagar, Sonum Lotus, some clouds were hovering over Srinagar and the high blasts are not something to be worried about.
Sonum Lotus added, there was no cloudburst; it was just routine heavy cloud hovering over Srinagar and rains shall lash city for few hours and it will be normal again.
He also forecast fair weather for coming week.
