Budgam: In a mysterious fire, the building housing the office of the Block Medical Officer (BMO) and administrative division of the health centre in Central Kashmirs Budgam district gutted completely during the late hours on Tuesday.
A police official said that the massive fire destroyed a three-room structure near the Community Health Centre Chatergam at around 8 pm. He added that investigation has been started to ascertain the facts. The cause of fire was not immediately known, he said.
Chief Medical Officer Budgam Dr G M Dar said: Almost all the hospital record has turned into ashes due to fire, however, some records of NRHM scheme were saved.
